Broomall Fields
What's There:
Little League Baseball, snack bar.
If you like baseball come to Broomall, Thomas or South Marple Fields in the Spring. The games can be a very exciting!
Directions:
From West Chester Pike: Take Rte 320 (Sproul Rd) east 0.2 miles (at Church Lane & Marple Rd).
Green Bank Farm

From Rte 252: Follow Palmers Mill Rd (by the Springton Reservoir) 0.5 miles. From Rte 320:Follow Paxon Hollow Rd, past the golf course, to Palmer’s Mill road. Continue on Palmers Mill road 0.6 miles to the farm.
Highland Ave. Park
What’s There:
Roller Hocky rink, basketball court, tennis backboard.Directions:
On Highland Ave just south of Worrall Elementary School’s playground.
Kent Park
What's There:
Childrens & toddler swings, monkey-bars, slide, picnic area with bar-b-ques, gazebo with picnic benches, stream, paved walking trail, tennis courts.
. This is a heavenly little valley tucked away from suburbia. The grassy valley floor is surrounded by hills with tall trees. A short visit here, relaxing in the sunshine and listening to the burbling stream, will reinvigorate your spirit.
Tot-Lot (Malin Rd)
What's There:
Childrens & toddler swings, monkey-bars, slide, picnic area with bar-b-ques, gazebo with picnic benches, stream, paved walking trail, tennis courts.
Directions:
From Rte 320:Follow Cedar Grove Rd. 0.7 miles. Fom Rte 252: Follow Cedar Grove Rd 1.5 miles.
Marple Gardens
What's There:
Monkey bars, ladder, swing sets, slide, picnic area, bar-b-que grill, basketball court, kids baseball/softball field.
The baseball field is used for Tee-Ball during Baseball season.
Directions:
From West Chester Pike (across from Springfield Rd):
Follow Ann Rd. The entrance is on your left.
New Ardmore Ave. Park
What's There:
Extensive children's playground equipment, picnic area, bar-b-que, basketball court, huge grassy areas, Langford Run Creek.
Directions:
The park is on New Ardmore Ave approx half way between West Chester Pike and Rte 320.
Old Marple School Park
What's There:
Modern children's playground equipment, picnic area, short walking trail, sledding hill. Picnic tables for lunch, relaxing, etc.
Directions:
From West Chester Pike: Take Broomall Ave one block to Cynwyd, turn left and follow Cynwyd to Bonsall. The park entrance is the extension of Bonsall Ave where it intersects Cynwyd Ave.You can also park behind the old Marple School (RETS) building and walk down the hill.
South Marple Little League
What's There:
Tennis courts, roller hockey rink, Little League baseball in the Spring, snackbar. The park is adjacent to the Loomis Elementary school play ground.
Directions:
From Lawrence Rd:
Follow Canterberry to N. Central Blvd. The entrance is to your right. (Behind Loomis Elementary School)
Thomas Ballfields
What's There:
Two Little League Baseball fields, a Babe Ruth Baseball field, two snack bars. There is a small playground just beyond first base at the Babe Ruth field. The fields border Kent Park. There is a path into Kent Park behind the Babe Ruth snack bar.
Directions:
From Rte 252:
Follow Cedar Grove Rd 1.4 miles. The entrance is across from Highland Ave.
Veterans Memorial Park
What's There:
Extensive children's play area, paved walking circuit, large grassy sports field, enter-tainment gazebo, restrooms, soda machines.
Directions:
On Lawrence Rd, 0.6 miles from Rte 320. At the stoplight.
