              We would like to welcome you and your family to Marple and give you an overview of our services, park system, and other things that you should know. Below is a bullet list of items and links to help you find what you need.


  • Street List - Find out your Commissioner, your voting location, your trash and recycle days, and other important information. Look at the left side of the page where you will find our Public Works page and an overview of services we provide. You can also see your responsibilities for the disposal of waste, leaf collection, and what you should do if you have a sewer backup.

  • Park System - The Township of Marple has one the of the best park systems in the area. We have facilities for every age: tennis, basketball, hockey, safe play gyms, and two of the best Little Leagues: Marple Twp. Little League and South Marple Little League. Don't forget Paxon Hollow Country Club, where you are entitled to discounted play as a resident. You won't be disappointed when you play Paxon Hollow, with the hardest finishing hole in the area.

  • Marple Schools - Marple-Newtown School District.  has Marple-Newtwon High School,Paxon Hollow Middle School and elementary schools throughout the township. Visit the link above for more information.  

  • Code Enforcement - Please be sure to get a permit for any work that you may be doing on your home. You can also purchase  your recycle can at the Code Department for a fee of $20.00 during offices hours (8:30 AM to 5: 00 PM Monday-Friday). When the Township is closed there will be no trash pick-up.

  • Sewer/Refuse Billing -The Finance Department will be sending out Sewer bills in late June and Refuse bills in February. For more details, visit the Finance page or call us at 610.356.4040 ext. 518.

  • Real Estate Tax - The Tax Office sends out the Township Tax in February and the School Tax in July. Some residents are eligible for homestead discount, and as usual, you receive a 2% Discount if you pay your taxes during the discount period. If you have any questions, please call the Tax Office at 610.356.4040  ext. 551.

  • Marple Library - The library is located above the Township Office. Visit the library web page for the hours of operation and any planned special events.

  • Marple Police - In some cases, you may need the services of the Public Works Department during off-hours, weekends, or holidays. Call 911 for any emergencies (sewer back-up, road obstruction, flooding) that cannot wait until the next working day.

  • Administration - For any concerns, questions, or guidance, please feel free to call our office at 610.356.4040, ext. 500. We have added a Request Service form so you can send us a comment, or let us know about a problem. Your message will be forwarded to the proper department. Do not use this service for an emergency - Call 911.
